• Do not place the cable(s) on hot surfaces or near oil.
• Do not tuck the cable(s) under rugs or blankets. Never lay the cable(s) in a
walkway.
• Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
• Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the
rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
• Make sure that you do not trip over the cord(s) and that the cord(s) are not kinked,
twisted, or stuck.
• Do not move the product while it is on. Always turn the product off before
moving or cleaning it.
• Never open the casing of the product. There are no user-serviceable elements
inside the product. If the product casing is removed, there is a risk of fatal electric
shock.
• Make sure you can reach the electrical outlet the product is plugged into.
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING
3.1 Preparation for assembly
Drill or cut a hole in the work surface based on the following suggestions:
• Around the hole, at least 5 cm must remain free of obstacles (furniture, electrical
appliances, etc.).
• The thickness of the worktop must be at least 30 mm.
• Choose heat-resistant worktop material to prevent distortion due to heat radiation
from the induction cooktop.
