Now close the battery compartment. Close the door and lock it by turning the bar handle anticlockwise. Now
turn the emergency key 90° clockwise and attach the cover plate (Fig. 1) of the emergency lock.
The safe is now ready for operation.
For all other openings, proceed as described in point 4.
7.4

Changing the opening codes

Open the safe and press the green button on the inside of the door (hinge side). A beep follows and the yellow
LED on the keypad starts to light up. Now enter the new 3-8 digit code (we recommend at least 4 digits). Confirm
the entry by pressing the '#' button; the lock signals by a beep that the new opening code is now active and the
yellow LED goes out.

Opening and closing the safe

Open
Enter the opening code, pressing each button is confirmed by a high-pitched beep. Confirm the entry by
pressing the "#" key. A beep sounds and the green LED on the keypad lights up.
The safe can now be opened within a time window of 5 seconds by turning the bar handle. If the code is
entered incorrectly, 3 consecutive beeps sound and the yellow LED flashes. In this case, repeat the entry.
After three incorrect entries, the lock enters a locking period for 30 seconds, during which time no code entry
is possible, the yellow LED flashes and individual, consecutive beeps sound. After this period, three more code
entries are possible.
 ATTENTION! If the wrong entry is made three times again, the blocking time
increases to 30 seconds again.
Locking the safe
To lock the safe, close the door and turn the bar handle 90° anticlockwise. Make sure that the locking bolts
do not hit the housing frame, as this can lead to malfunctions of the locking mechanism.
7.6
Emergency opening
In the event of technical faults in the electronic lock, the safe can be opened via an emergency lock. To do
this, remove the cover (Fig.1) next to the keypad, insert the key into the lock and turn it 90° anticlockwise
until it stops. The safe can now be opened without entering the code. (See also point 3 "Commissioning")
7.7
Changing batteries
When the batteries are low, the green and red LEDs light up together. Open the battery compartment and
change the batteries.
ATTENTION!
Only use alkaline batteries, not rechargeable batteries.
When the batteries are removed, the lock is reset to its factory setting after one hour. The personal opening
code must be reprogrammed.
