OPERATION
The child lock function
Child Lock may be enabled after switching the hob on. When the Child Lock is activated, the
appliance is always in a lock mode, it means that even in standby mode, the lock remains active.
Activate the Child Lock
Child Lock function can be selected from the menu using the multifunction sensor (3). The
Child Lock option appears as shown in the figure. Confirm the activation of Child Lock by
pressing "on". Now the Child Lock mode is active.
Deactivate the Child Lock
To unlock the Child Lock function, press the multifunction sensor (3) and enter the menu.
Then select the Child Lock function from the menu. The user may select whether the Child
Lock is to remain active, or unlock the control panel by pressing "off".
Temporary unlock
When the Child Lock is active, the control panel must be unlocked each time after switching
the hob on. The panel unlock screen appears after switching the hob on. Now the hob can
be unlocked by sliding the finger across the heat setting selection sensor (2) Fig.
