1. Intended use
The trailer tester is designed to test the 12 V lighting systems on trailers and caravans with 7-pin plugs without them being connected to the
towing vehicle. And also to test the functionality of the 7-pin trailer socket on the car.

• Only use this product for the intended use!
• Do not manipulate or disassemble the device!
• For your own safety, only use accessories or replacement parts speci ed in the instructions or that the manufacturer
has recommended!
5. Operating instructions
Inserting the battery: The battery compartment is located on the rear of the device. Open the battery compartment by sliding the lid to the side
in the direction of the arrow. When inserting the battery, pay attention to the correct poling, labels for plus and minus poles are at the bottom of
the battery compartment. Place the battery over the fabric tape, this makes it easier to remove the used batteries at a later date. Close the battery
compartment again.
Test the trailer socket of the towing vehicle: Switch o the ignition of the towing vehicle. Insert the trailer tester with the plug side up into
the trailer socket of the towing vehicle. Ask a second person to help you to read o the control lamps of the trailer tester. Switch on at the ignition
and switch the following lighting functions on. If the trailer socket is functioning correctly, the appropriate control lamp of the trailer tester will
light up.
