* Small and practical

6. Startup and Operation
* The headphone amplifier comes with a built-in
lithium-polymer rechargeable battery.
* Charge the HA201 headphone amplifier
completely before initial use.
Charging the battery:
* Connect the micro USB connection (6) to a
standard USB connection (e.g. notebook, PC) or
an appropriate USB charging device using the
included USB cable.
* A complete charging cycle takes approximately
2.5 hours. (During charging, the status LED does
not light up.)
Connect:
* Connect your mobile terminal device (MP3 player,
mobile phone, etc.) and the audio input IN (7) of
the HA201 using the included 3.5 mm audio cable.
* The headphone amplifier automatically switches
into standby mode due to the Auto ON/OFF
function. The status LED (1) is now blue.
* Connect your headphones/headset to the audio
output (2) of the HA201.
Start playback:
+ At first, keep the volume setting of the HA201
low. Use the volume up + button (3) or the volume
down - button (4). The status LED flashes when the
volume is being adjusted. The LED stops flashing
when you've reached the minimum or maximum
volume level.
* Reduce the volume of the audio device to around
75%. You can increase the volume later as needed.
* Start playback on your terminal device.
* Switch the HA201 off again after using it either
by unplugging the 3.5 mm jack cable from the
audio input IN (7) or by pressing the Power ON/
OFF button (5).
Always keep the volume at a
reasonable level. Loud volumes,
even over short periods, can
cause hearing loss.
7. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
