Tot 4 DALI PCU kunnen met elkaar verbonden worden, daarbij moet wel op de correcte polariteit van de DALI stuurleiding gelet worden. Elke DALI PCU die met de netspanning verbonden is (=actieve DALI PCU) kan 25 DALI E-VSA en een niet aan de netspanning aangesloten DALI PCU (=passieve DALI PCU) voeden.
