If used to control a gate or garage door operator:
• it must be used in strict compliance with standard EN 12453 relating to "Safety in use
of power operated doors" and in particular with paragraph 5.5 relating to the "minimum
safety level for people".
• it demonstrates significant restrictions on use depending on the control systems used;
1.1 General precautions
In all cases, and regardless of the control system used, the drive is operated in sequential
mode (opening, stop, closing, stop).
In all cases, the information feedback to remote controls with information feedback
indicates an error.

Normative requirements
• The gate or garage door drive must be set to automatic mode.
• To ensure compliance with paragraph 5.5.1 of standard EN-12453, the installation must
be fitted with an additional safety system, such as photo-electric cells.
Restrictions on use
The information feedback on the operation and position of the gate or garage door is not
available.
