Remove the glass or plastic hatch cover,

Glass hatch cover: For vehicles fitted with

a glass hatch cover, carefully remove it and
dismantle its fasteners using a jig saw or other
suitable tool. Remove all fixing glue from the
hatch cover's frame, taking special care not to
damage the vehicle chassis.
Plastic hatch cover: For vehicles fitted

with a plastic hatch cover, make a cut in it in
order to use a jig saw or other suitable tool
to remove the hatch cover's frame. Remove
all fixing glue from the hatch cover's frame,
taking special care not to damage the vehicle
chassis.
