The hydraulic tool must be used with a hydraulic pump. The pump must have a working
pressure of max 700 bar and be self-venting. The following three models from Wallmek
are tested with the hydraulic tool 04-00024: 1030 manual foot pump and the pneumatic
hydraulic pumps 1035 and 1036. 1036 is equipped with a pressure gauge and is the
hydraulic pump recommended for hydraulic tool 04-00024.
The hydraulic tool must be vented before it is used for the first time.
Venting the hydraulic tool:
1. Connect the hydraulic tool to the hydraulic pump.
2. Keep the cylinder angled with the hydraulic coupling as illustrated.
3. Pump in the plunger until it bottoms in the cylinder.
4. Return the plunger fully.
Safety
• Ensure that each user reads these instructions carefully and fully
understands all of the information before using the tool.
• Ensure that all parts of the tools are in full working order and fitted
correctly before use.
• In the event of incorrect use, responsibility transfers to the user.
• Always wear safety glasses when using the hydraulic tool.
• Use the hydraulic tool in combination with the retaining strap and guard at
pressures over 300 bar.
