The Lisa-Signolux »alarmo« helps people with hearing problems to cope with everyday
life. It enables the perception of acoustic events in the home through visible signals.
The »alarmo« is part of a medical system and is compatible with all devices of the Lisa-
Signolux alerting system.

- Please read these instructions carefully and completely before setting up and using

- Keep Lisa-Signolux devices out of the reach of children! This packaging contains
small parts - there is a risk of choking and suffocation!
- The flashes of light emitted by the receiver devices can trigger epileptic seizures in
people with photosensitive epilepsy (PSE).
Function principle
The »alarmo« has been conceived to enable the easy incorporation of already exis-
ting smoke detectors into the Lisa-Signolux-alerting system, without need for modi-
fication or wiring.
»alarmo« scans environmental noises in proximity for sound patterns typical of smoke
detectors and fire alarm systems of any type.
False alarms, possibly caused by alarm sounds not actually within in the room (e. g.
passing emergency vehicles, TV and movie sound effects) are prevented by means of
intelligent analysis and filtering of the registered sound.
