3.1 Unpacking / Disposing of packaging
Danger of suffocation
The transparent plastic film poses a risk of suffocation to children:
• Keep the packaging away from children.
The appliance is delivered in a box, packed in moulded polystyrene foam.
First of all, check that all parts are included and undamaged:

Visionair hairdryer type M50 or M50W
•
Visionair operating instructions (M50/M50W)
The pedestal base g and pedestal tube f, wall bracket o and wall arm n do
not form part of the appliance and must be ordered separately.
If the appliance has been damaged in transit, please contact Wella Customer
Service. We recommend that you retain the packaging during the guarantee period
in case the appliance needs to be returned. If you would like to dispose of the
packaging, please ask at your local waste disposal site.
3.2 Installation
Pedestal version
Mount the pedestal type ST5 according to the installation instructions for the
pedestal base g / the pedestal tube f. Then mount the appliance on the
pedestal tube f.
Wall-mounted version
The wall-mounted version requires correct electrical installation and secure fixing
to the wall. This version should therefore only be mounted by a specialist
(electrician, technical expert) or staff with a comparable qualification according to
the valid installation and operating instructions.
Sudden release of the spring arm (only wall-mounted version):
• The spring arm of the wall-mounted version contains a powerful
spring. When the appliance is dismantled, the spring arm is
suddenly released upwards and may cause serious injury.
• The appliance may only be mounted / dismantled by a specialist
(electrician, technical expert) or staff with a comparable
qualification according to the valid instructions.
