Operating instructions
(for the user and the technican)
The CFK 5 frost protection heater is a
small wall-mounted convector heater. It is
suitable for small rooms, W.C.s and similar
applications.
Construction and operation
Once the appliance has been connected
to the mains, it is operational.
The CFK 5 is a convector heater, and as
such air is warmed in the appliance by
convection, giving an even, draft-free heat
from the top of the heater. The in-built
thermostat controls the heat output to
maintain a constant room temperature.
Operating

Switching the heater on
By turning the temperature control knob
on the side of the appliance clockwise, the
heater will switch on and the temperature
will increase. The temperature can be set
at anything betwenn +6 ºC and +45 ºC.
The thermostat will switch off the heater
when the desired temperature has been
reached and cycle on and off to maintain
the desired temperature.
Frost protection
To set the frost protection turn the
temperature control knob until it is located
between the two stars.
The thermostat automatically switches the
heater on when the temperature falls
below the frost setting.
When not in use, remove the plug
from the power supply.

Le convecteur de mise hors-gel CFK 5 est
un convecteur à fixation mural. Cet
appareil est adapté au chauffage de petites
pièces, toilettes, etc..
Fonctionnement
Le convecteur est en service après le
branchement au secteur.
Le convecteur CFK 5 fonctionne sur le
principe de la convection de l'air qui est
chauffé de manière homogéne et en
continu dans l'appreil, puis est rejeté par les
ouvertures en par tie supérieure. Le
thermostat intégré régule, la montée en
température, et le maintien en
température de l'air ambiant.

Mise en service
Pour enclencher et régler la température,
tourner le sélecteur, qui est à droite de
l'appareil, dans le sens horaire. La
température est réglable en continu entre
6 ºC et environ 45 ºC. Le thermostat
arrête le chauffage dès que la température
ambiante a atteint la valeur programmée
qui est alors maintenue constante par
chauffage intermitent.
Hors-gel
Pour mettre l'appareil en position hors-gel
il suffit d'amener le sélecteur du
thermostat sur une position entre les 2
étoiles . Le thermostat enclenche
automatiquement le chauffage dès que la
température ambiante descend au-dessous
de la température de hors gel.
Vérifier que le besion en chaleur
correspond bien à la puissance de chauffe
de l'appareil.
Pour l'arrêt définitif, il faut retirer la
fiche secteur.

De kleine vorstbeveiliging CFK 5 is geschikt
voor het verwarmen van kleinere ruimten,
toiletten en dergelijke.
Installatie en werking
Na aansluiting op het lichtnet is het
toestel bedrijfsklaar.
De CFK 5 is een convector, dat wil zeggen,
de lucht treedt na in het toestel te zijn
verwarmd volgens het principe van
convectie gelijkmatig en trekvrij uit de
openingen boven in het toestel naar
buiten. De ingebouwde temperatuur-
regelaar bewaakt de verwarming van de
lucht in de ruimte en zorgt ervoor dat de
temperatuur in de ruimte constant blijft.

Verwarming inschakelen
Door de zich in de rechterzijwand van het
toestel bevindende temperatuurkeuzeknop
met de wijzers van de klok mee te draaien
wordt de verwarming ingeschakeld en de
temperatuur gekozen. De gewenste
ruimtetemperatuur kan traploos worden
ingesteld tussen +6 ºC en ca. 45 ºC. Zodra
de ingestelde temperatuur bereikt is
schakelt de temperatuurregelaar de
verwarming uit; de temperatuur in de
ruimte wordt vervolgens constant
gehouden door intermitterend bedrijf van
het toestel.
Vorstbeveiliging
De vorstbeveiliging is ingesteld wanneer de
temperatuurkeuzeknop in een positie
tussen de beide sterretjes op de schaal-
verdeling wordt geplaatst.
De temperatuurregelaar schakelt in dat
geval de verwarming automatisch in zodra
de ruimtetemperatuur in de buurt komt
van de vorstgrens.
Voor volledig uitschakelen
netsteker uittrekken!
