In case of every stop of the machine, the lock button (2) has
to be released immediately by pressing the on/off switch.
Consequently, you can avoid an unintentional restart of the
machine (physical hazard).
Setting
A permanent use with reduced speed can cause an overload because the
motor then gets less cooling air and therefore the machine will be
overheated much faster.
Instructions for Use
Do not strain the machine so heavily that it comes to a standstill.
Only use the Joint Cutter dry cutting.
Loose pieces of grout should be removed mechanically âfrom the
joints before milling, as they can block the suction channel.
Should blockages nevertheless occur in the protective bonnet, switch
off the machine and the vacuum cleaner and remove any fragments.
Adjust the cutting depth see section "Pre-selection the Cutting Depth".
Position the electric power tool with the protective cover on the joint to be
sealed.
Switch on the machine and slowly lower and plunge the cutting unit into the
material.
Guide the machine with both handles, applying moderate feed, suited to the
material being worked.
The EFU 1200 is equipped with an adjusting
wheel in order to allow a continuously variable
control of the speed from 6.700 and 14.400 rpm.
The adjusting wheel is on the top side of the
handle opposite of the on/off switch.
