DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock from Water
■
Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate the device outdoors
or in rooms with high humidity.
■
Never immerse the control unit, mains cable or mains plug in water or other liquids
and ensure that these components cannot fall into water or become wet. In addition,
the warming cushion must not fall into water or become wet during use.
■
Should the device, the control unit, the mains cable or the mains plug fall into water
or should liquid get into the device, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not
attempt to pull them out of the water while they are still connected to the mains power!
Have the device checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.
WARNING – Danger of Electric Shock from Damage and
Inappropriate Handling

The mains plug of the control unit should only be connected to a plug socket that has
been properly installed. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection.
The mains voltage must match the technical data for the device (see "Technical
Data").
■
Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the
device.
■
Switch off the device before the mains plug is pulled out of the plug socket.
Health-Specifi c Instructions
■
Only use the device if you have no physical illnesses or ailments.
■
Pregnant women should not use the device or use it only after consultation with their
doctor.
■
People with a pacemaker may use the device only after consultation with their doctor.
■
Do not use the device on swelling or sore areas of skin.
■
Switch off the device immediately if you experience pain or feel unwell during use.
■
If you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a doctor.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■
Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the packaging
material.
■
Risk of tripping! Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip
hazard.
WARNING – Danger of Fire
■
Do not use the device if highly fl ammable gases are present in the air. Never operate
the device in the vicinity of a gas source.
■
Do not place any combustible materials or materials that melt easily (e. g. cardboard,
plastic, paper or candles) on the device.
