Do take apart or deform the batteries.

Remove leaking batteries from the device immediately. Avoid contact
with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If these areas come into
contact with battery acid, rinse them immediately with plenty of clean water
and contact a doctor immediately. There is a risk of corrosion due to battery
acid.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision orinstruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not pla with
the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.

This product contains a coin / button cell battery. If the coin / button
cell battery is swallowed., it can cause several internal burns in just 2
hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from
children.

If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the
product and keep it away from children.
INSTALL THE BATTERY
•
When first using the scales, remove the plastic strip on the back the
scales (battery compartment) by pulling on the strip with the red arrow
•
Remove the cover from the battery compartment
•
Remove the battery from the battery compartment.
•
Place the new battery with the "+" sign up into the battery compartment.
•
Replace the battery compartment cover.
