(4) Electrical Connection
Important
This cooker Hood has a Double Insulation for maximum safety and therefore it
does not require any Earth Connection
It is recommended that installation is carried out by a qualified electrician.
The manufacturers will not accept liability for any problems however caused by the
failure of the user or installer to comply with these instructions or with safety
regulations.
This appliance is intended to be permanently connected to the electrical supply
through a double pole switched fused spur fitted with a 3 amp fuse. The opening
distance between the switch contacts shall not be less than 3mm.
The installation must conform to the requirements of BS 7671.
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code;
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Live
The wire which is coloured Blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured Black
The wire which is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured Red
WARNING: this appliance must not be earthed, this appliance must be connected by
SPUR OUTLET.

Ensure that the appliance is isolated from the supply before carrying out installation.
Use this appliance for its intended use only as laid out in these instructions
The manufacturers refuse to accept any responsibility for damage to the
hood or it's catching on fire because of failure to observe the above
instructions.
Check that there are no water pipes or electrical cables in the wall where
you want to mount the hood before drilling any holes.

Any installation work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The cooker hood and its filter mesh should be cleaned regularly in order to keep it
in good working order.
Before cleaning, always ensure that you have switched your cooker hood off.
There is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instructions.
If there is any fault with your cooker hood, do not use it seek expert advice.
Before installation and use, read all the instructions and make sure that the voltage (V)
and the frequency (Hz) indicated on your cooker hood are exactly the same as in your home.
