The appliance must be completely dry on the outside before
you use it again.
DESCALING
1.
To keep the appliance operating efficiently and to prolong its
service life, it should be descaled regularly, depending on the
hardness of your water.
2.
Use off-the-shelf descaling products for electronic kettles and
comply with the manufacturer's instructions. To descale, fill
the kettle half full, maximum, otherwise the liquid can boil
over and can cause severe injuries.
3.
Heat the liquid (do not boil!) and allow it to sit for some time
in the electronic kettle.
4.
Pour the descaling solution out of the kettle.
5.
Then fill it with fresh water and bring to a boil. Pour this water
out as well. Then rinse out the kettle at least twice with clean
water.
