3. Proper use
The equipment can be used indoors in a free
standing position. Keep the equipment housing
a minimum distance of 1 m away from any
walls and combustible materials (furniture,
curtains, etc.). The equipment may only be used
completely mounted and standing vertically on
a stable surface. It is prohibited to operate the
equipment on an instable surface (e.g. on a bed).
Do not cover the equipment – risk of fi re! The
heater warms objects or persons at which it is
pointed but does not directly heat the air in the
process
The equipment is to be used only for its prescri-
bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju-
ries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
4. Technical data
Mains voltage: ................... 220-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz
Max. heat rating .................... 1200 W (3x 400 W)
Equipment dimensions incl. ................................
supporting foot, approx.: ............. 40 x 30 x 60 cm
5. Before starting the equipment
Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate
are identical to the mains data.
5.1 Assembly
•
Guide the mains cable through the recess in
the middle of the supporting foot.
•
Fit the heater into the recess (Fig. 2).
•
Fasten the heater to the supporting foot with
the two thumb screws (1) (Fig. 3).
•
Feed the power cable (2) through the guides
(3) in the supporting foot to the outside as
illustrated (Fig. 3).

6. Operation
Important. Before using the equipment for the fi rst
time, check that the voltage supply is the same
as the voltage details set out on the rating plate.
Read the safety regulations in section 1.
When the equipment is used for the fi rst time or
after a long period of rest, it may emit an odor for
a short time. This is not a fault.
6.1 Topple cut-out
•
If the equipment topples during operation, it
will be automatically turned off by the switch
(Fig. 3/Item 4). When the heater is placed
upright again (the switch (Fig. 3/Item 4) must
be activated), the equipment will restart
immediately.
6.2 Heat output and oscillation (Fig. 4)
•
Pressing the power switch (1) will turn on
the machine with a heat output of 400 W. A
halogen heating element will light up.
•
In addition you can use the two other heat
output switches (2 / 3) to switch on two more
heating elements, each with an output of
400 W.
•
The oscillation switch (4) can be used in
addition to the power switch (1) to activate
the oscillation function. The heater will then
oscillate to the left and right. The maximum
swiveling range is 75°.
•
Pressing the individual switches (2-4) again
will turn off the heat output and the oscillation
function respectively.
•
The equipment can be turned off completely
by pressing the power switch (1) again.
7. Replacing the power cable
Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
