17. ACCURACY STATEMENT
To achieve optimal accuracy the Impulse XP should be periodically supplied
with a known concentration test gas, and if the readings are outside of 15%
of the applied gas concentration, a Span Calibration should be performed,
under conditions of standard temperature (15°C to 25°C), humidity and
pressure.
Poisons should not affect the accuracy of the Impulse XP but certain
compounds can block the gas access port of the sensor, such as silicone oils,
giving a lower than expected reading.
