c) Inserting the vehicle battery
• Switch the vehicle off. The on/off switch is located
on the left side behind the front left-hand wheel
(see arrow in the right-hand diagram (A)).
"ON" = switched on
"OFF" = switched off
• Remove the screw on the battery compartment
cover on the bottom of the vehicle, and then re-
move the battery compartment cover.
• Connect the vehicle battery (C) to the vehicle. The
connection is protected against reverse polarity.
However, do not use any force when connecting
the battery.
• Insert the vehicle battery into the battery compart-
ment. Replace the battery compartment and se-
cure it in place with the screw that you previously
removed.
Ensure that the cables are not bent or
otherwise damaged.
