02. Intended use
The 2-pole voltage checker is intended for indicating 12
to 690 V DC and 12 to 400 V AC. The voltages are indica-
ted in 9 ranges and their polarity is displayed.
The voltage checker may be used in systems belonging
to overvoltage category 3 (CAT III = house installations).
Operation under adverse ambient conditions is not per-
mitted. These include excess humidity, dust, flammable
gases, vapours or air containing solvents, thunderstorms
or thunderstorm conditions, such as strong electrostatic
fields etc.
Any use other than that described above will lead to
damage to this product, in addition to which this is as-
