D. INSTALLATION
CAUTION The people installing the product
should wear the required protection and clothing.
D.1 Remove the polyester caps from the arches
and remove the protection material.
D.2 Fasten a nut to each anchor and add an
adjustment flange to each anchor.
D.3 Lift up the arch with the crane and lower it onto
the anchors. Make sure the main power cable runs
through the indicated hole. Fasten the arch to the
anchors, but do not fully tighten yet.
NOTICE
Keep the arch supported until the two
arches have been connected on top.
D.4 Lift up the other arch and lower onto the
anchors. Fasten the arch to the anchors, but do not
fully tighten yet.
D.5 Align the tops of the arches by using the three
bolts at the bottom of each arch.
D.6 Connect the arches at the top, but do not fully
tighten yet.
D.7 Put the polyester caps in place by sliding them
on top of the arches.
D.8 Tighten the polyester caps to the steel frame
with the L-clamps.
D.9 Set the Sona arches at the correct distance.
D.10 Tighten all bolts/nuts on the top and the
bottom of the frame.
D.11 Connect the polyester caps to the top of the
frame.
D.12 Connect the speaker cables in the top of the
Sona.
D.13 Run the camera plate cable through the
cable protection tube inside the Sona, towards
SERVICE

the computer. Place the camera plate in place and
fasten.
D.14 Connect the two cables to the computer: A.
camera and B. power. Place the side plate with the
mounted button near the computer and connect
button to computer C.
WARNING Electric malfunction risk! Connecting
the cables without switching off the main power,
could cause a damage to the product and electric
shock risks. Switch off the main power from the
power cable, before connecting it to the computer.
WARNING Installation should be done by a
certified installer according to local regulations on
electrical safety.
NOTICE
Make sure to connect the poles
correctly.
D.15 Place the side plates in place and fasten.
D.16 Close the top gap with transparent sealant to
make the Sona watertight.
D.17 Switch on the main power.
NOTICE
For settings, service and statistics, visit
the My Yalp section in the Yalp Store.
D.18 Roll out the Sona floor and place according to
the image.
NOTICE
Make sure the "2" is located on the
button-side of the arch.
D.19 Cut the floor to size.
D.20 Add the infill sand (Type: #30 Silica sand)
onto the Sona floor evenly: 25kg/m2 (55lbs/10ft2).
Work the sand into the floor using a (rotary) broom.
