Set up, hang or position the product safely
The device is not designed for use in rooms with high humidity (e.g., bathrooms).

With the folding stand
•
Place the outdoor sensor on a flat surface. Make sure that the outdoor sensor is
protected against falling over.
The IPX4 protection is not guaranteed lying down.
The base station and the outdoor sensor are also suitable for wall mounting using the
mounting holes

Note: Do not mount the base station and the outdoor sensor higher than 2 m.
Before mounting to the wall, make sure that there are no gas, water or electricity lines at
the drilling location. Use suitable screws and dowels (not included in the package con-
tents). Be mindful of the wall's condition.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage caused by improper fastening.
Make sure that:
•
there is always sufficient ventilation of the base station and the outdoor sensor
(leave at least 10 cm clearance on all sides);
•
no direct heat sources (e.g., heaters) affect the product;
•
it is not placed in the path of direct sunlight;
•
contact with spraying or dripping water is avoided;
•
the product is not mounted in the immediate vicinity of magnetic fields (e.g., loud-
speakers);
•
no foreign bodies can enter the product;
•
candles and other open flames must be kept away from this product at all times to
prevent the spread of fire.
•
the outdoor sensor are not further than 100 m from the base station. The range
may be impaired by obstacles such as walls or other objects;
•
the pool sensor is no further than 30 m from the base station. The range may be
impaired by obstacles such as walls or other objects;
•
the pool sensor is carefully positioned on the water;
•
the pool sensor floats vertically and the funnel cover
to ensure error-free data transmission.
