f) If you wish to replace the battery, remove the old one
with a small flat screwdriver from its plastic support (fig.
2 D) by lifting the edge slightly (fig. 2 E). Afterwards you
can insert a new battery. Kindly ensure the correct po-
larity of the battery.

Inserting the name plate
a) If you have not opened the housing yet, kindly pro-
ceed as described under step 1 a) to c).
b) The transparent plastic face consists of two parts.
The labelled name plate can be inserted between them
(dimensions: 94 x 24 mm). Please ensure that the label-
ling is the right way up. Also keep in mind that the name
plate has a small cutout for the status LED.
c) Put the two transparent parts of the plastic face back
together so that the notches interlock.
d) Please refer to the next chapter for the reassembly of
the doorbell-pushbutton.
