LED table light "Cosenza"
Intended use
The LED table light is used for illumination in dry, enclosed interiors, e.g. illumination
of an offi ce or work table.
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this may
give rise to hazards such as short-circuiting, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the prod-
uct may be modifi ed or converted!
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All

Explanation of the Symbols
The lightening symbol in a triangle is used to alert you to potential risks for
personal injury, such as electric shock.
This symbol indicates specifi c risks associated with handling, function and
use.
The "Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The product is not dimmable!
The wall plug transformer is designed to safety class II.
The LED table lamp is designed in accordance with protection class III.
This product is only to be installed and used in dry, enclosed conditions
indoors. The product must not get damp or wet as there is danger of a
fatal electric shock!

Please read all instructions before using this device, they include impor-
tant information on its correct operation.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to ob-
serve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any
consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused
by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such
cases, the warranty will be null and void.
a) In general
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not al-
lowed for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The LED table luminaire is not a toy and should therefore be kept away from
children. Children cannot assess the dangers arising from incorrect use of
electrical devices. Be especially careful if children are around.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around since it could be-
come a dangerous plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the em-
ployer's liability insurance association for electrical systems and operating
facilities are to be observed!

b) Operation
• This product is only to be installed and used in dry, enclosed conditions in-
doors. The product must not get damp or wet as there is danger of a fatal
electric shock!
• Do not use the LED table lamp in rooms, or under adverse environmen-
tal conditions, where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be
present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Never place the product on an unstable or movable surface. Always set up
the LED table lamp in a way it cannot tilt or fall. Tilting/falling can cause a fi re
hazard, people could be injured or the product could be damaged.
• The product may only be used when assembled.
• The product gets very hot around the LED illuminant, risk of burns! Take the
necessary care in using the LED table lamp!
• Do not place any objects on the LED table lamp or hang any objects from it
(e.g. decorations). Fire hazard!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
• The product is only suitable for use in moderate but not tropical climates.
• Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Attention important!
The LED table lamp may only be used when powered by the included
wall plug transformer. This is not a conventional wall plug transformer
with fi xed and solid output voltage but a LED converter with constant
current of 350 mA.
If you connect a conventional power adapter to the LED table light,
this will lead to the immediate destruction of the lamp, loss of war-
ranty!
• If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not use the product any longer.
Switch off the mains socket to which the wall plug transformer is connected
(switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse,
then switch off the earth leakage circuit breaker). Unplug the power adapter
out of the mains socket.
Replace the wall plug transformer by a new one with the same design and
specifi cations and with a constant current output of 350 mA. Never use a
conventional wall plug transformer with constant voltage output.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (fl ickering light, leaking
smoke or a smell of burning, the light fl ickers, audible cracking noises,
discolouration to the product or the adjacent surfaces.)
- the device was stored for a longer period of time in unfavourable condi-
tions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• For safety reasons, pull the wall plug transformer out of the mains socket
before cleaning the product or when the product is not to be used for a
while (e.g. during storage).
