6.4. Personal protective equipment
When handling cleaning agents, protective clothing must be worn in accordance with the safety data sheet for the industrial cleaner used.
Solvent-resistant gloves, safety glasses and aprons must be used with all IBS-Special Cleaning Agents.
Glove material:

Gloves made from polychloroprene (CR), recommended material thickness: > 0.5 mm, max. breakthrough time: 4 hours
∙
Gloves made from nitrile rubber / nitrile latex (NBR), recommended material thickness: > 0.35 mm
∙
Gloves made from fluororubber (Viton) (FKM), recommended material thickness: > 0.4 mm
∙
Permeation rate / breakthrough time: > 8 hours (EN 374)
The exact breakthrough time must be ascertained from the protective glove manufacturer and must be observed. Protective gloves should

be replaced when they show the first signs of wear.
7. MAINTENANCE / CLEANING
7.1. Maintenance / Cleaning work
The mains plug must be removed before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning work.
7.2. Inspection (German DGUV information 209-088 — section 5 / previously German BGR 180)
The IBS-Parts Cleaning Device must be inspected for safe working condition by qualified staff, at least once a year and additionally when
required.
