SETTING UP THE LAMINATOR

Ensure the machine is on a stable surface.

Check there is enough clear space (min 50cm) behind the machine to allow
items to pass through freely.
HOW TO LAMINATE

Switch the power on (located at the rear of the machine).
6.
Press power button on front of unit. The control panel buttons will flash once as
part of a check light system to ensure proper function.

The machine defaults to 80mic hot setting. For 100mic, 125mic, or cold
laminating press the corresponding pouch selection buttons.
8.
The ready indicator light will pulse green while warming up.
9.
When ready, the machine will beep and ready indicator light will turn solid green.
10.
Place the document into the open pouch. Ensure the document is centered
against the sealed edge. Use the appropriate pouch size for the document.
Maximum recommended usage: Moderate Use, 30 laminations per day. Heavier paper materials may have an effect on quoted usage.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
No control panel illumination
Lamination Feed Sensor LED is blinking
All LEDS are dimly blinking
Pouch does not completely seal the item
Pouch has waves or bubbles
Pouch is lost in the machine
Jamming
Pouch is damaged after lamination

STORAGE & CLEANING
Switch off the machine at the wall. Allow the machine to cool. The outside of the machine can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or flammable materials to
polish the machine. Cleaning sheets can be used with the machine. When the machine is warm – run the sheets through the machine to clean any residue off the rollers. For
optimum performance, it is recommended that cleaning sheets are used with the machine regularly. (Cleaning sheet order codes #5320604)

Pouch is jammed

Plug the machine into an easily accessible wall socket.

Fit the exit tray to the rear of the machine.

Ensure the pouch enters the machine sealed edge first. Keep the pouch straight
and central within the slot, not on an angle.

Upon exit, the laminated pouch may be hot and soft. For the best quality and to
prevent jamming remove the pouch immediately. Place the pouch on to a flat
surface to cool. Take care when handling a hot pouch. Always remove laminate
pouch before starting next laminate.

For cold lamination, press the cold lamination button. When the laminator is
ready for cold lamination, the light will turn solid green. Note: To use the cold
setting after hot lamination, you may have to wait for the laminator to cool
down for 30-60 minutes.
Solution
Switch on machine at rear next to plug inlet and at the wall socket
Hold down the release lever and remove the item by hand
Press any button or cycle the power switch to re-start the machine
Check pass through thickness is correctly selected and pass through again
Check pouch thickness is correctly selected and pass through again
Check pouch thickness is correctly selected and pass through again
Operate the release lever and pull out the item by hand
Pass cleaning sheets through the machine to test and clean rollers
Manually press cleaning button to turn off illumination
