Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water; the boil-dry protection will
automatically switch it off. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and
re-boiling.
Advanced operation:
1. Keep warm function:
Press the on/off switch for 3 seconds; the kettle will be shining with red light on and off. After the water
boils, the kettle will keep it warm for 2 hours and go on heating when the temperature drops below 85°C.
2. Temperature showing by LED display:
Use the adjustable temperature control "
desired temperature reaches, the kettle will stop heating.
60°C: Green light.
70°C: Blue light.
80°C: Yellow light.
90°C: Purple light.
3. Please note that every time you take the kettle away from the power base your setting will be lost. You
have to reset the kettle after putting it back again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Always let the kettle cool down first and disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.

Never immerse the kettle area or cord in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.

To clean the filter: unlock the lid and have the filter rinsed under running water. Use a small brush to clean it
and then dry it.
Cleaning appearance of housing:
Wipe the appearance of body with a mild and damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.
Never immerse the power base in water or other liquid for cleaning.
Descale regularly, preferably at least once a month and more frequently if your water is very hard.
To descale your kettle, use:
• white vinegar
- fill the kettle with half a litre of vinegar
- leave to stand for 1 hour without heating
• citric acid:
- boil half a litre of water
- add 25g of citric acid and leave to stand for 15 minutes.
Empty your kettle and rinse it 5 or 6 times.
