19. Note: If there is a lot of smoke when making popcorn, this can be due to an
accumulation of grease. Switch off the appliance and clean it, as described
in the chapter, "Cleaning and care", before making any more popcorn.
Attention: The appliance, particularly the stainless steel kettle becomes
extremely hot during operation - danger of burn injuries! For example, use
potholders when handling the appliance to prevent burns. Beware of sharp
edges - risk of injury!
Do not open the door while the appliance is in operation – the escaping hot
air can cause burn injuries.
CLEANING AND CARE
1.
Do not immerse the housing, the stainless steel kettle, and the power cord
in water or other liquids!
2.
Do not use any abrasive scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects, hot
cleaning agents or disinfectants, as they can damage the appliance.
3.
Open the door of the appliance. Disconnect the power connection by pulling
the power plug out of the stainless steel kettle.
4.
Remove the crank, by unscrewing it clockwise.

Switch off the appliance via the On/Off switch, by placing the
switch on "0". Switch on the warming function by placing the
switch on "0".
Unplug the power plug from the electrical outlet.
Allow the appliance to cool completely.
16. If need be, you can now switch on the
warming function. To do this, place the
switch for the warming function on „I".
17. Now you can prepare more popcorn by
repeating steps 10 to 20. Reheating the
appliance is not necessary, you can simply
add the ingredients directly and switch on
the appliance.
18. When you have finished making
popcorn, place all switches to „0" and
unplug the power plug from the electrical
outlet.
