Inserting/replacing the batteries

Open the battery compartment cover

Insert the batteries. Ensure correct polarity as shown on the
diagram inside the battery compartment.

As soon as the battery icon starts fl ashing, however, you must
replace the batteries. Measurements are no longer possible.
Always replace all batteries at the same time. Always use batteries
from the same manufacturer and of the same type.
NOTE

If you do not intend to use the device for a long time, remove
the batteries. During extended periods of storage, the batteries
can corrode and discharge themselves.
