5.2 Use earphones
ATTENTION!
Hearing damage! Do not listen to music at high volume through headphones.
This can lead to permanent hearing damage. Before using headphones, adjust
the device volume to the minimum level.
The device can only play radio stations when the earphones are connected.
The earphone cable also serves as a receiving aerial!

Only use earphones with a 3.5 millimetre stereo jack plug.
Insert the earphone plug into the earphone socket (7) on the device.

The number and quality of the stations to be received depends on the
reception conditions at the place of use. Excellent reception can be
achieved with the earphones supplied. The full length of the earphone cable
must be aligned for the most favourable reception.
