Leica Calonox models come with splash water protection coating (IP67).
The device was tested under controlled laboratory conditions and is classed as IP67 in accordance
with DIN EN 60529.
Please note: the protection coating is not permanent and will diminish over time. The warranty
does not cover liquid damage. Any attempt to open the device by an unauthorized retailer or
service partner will result in the immediate expiration of the warranty.
The switching adapter output when charging the camera battery depends on its op-
erating mode. A min. switching adapter output of 3 W is required when the camera is
switched off. An output of 15 W is required if the camera is switched on.
