N. TIME knob adjusts how quickly the music volume recovers after the talkover
function has been engaged.
O. SENSITIVITY knob adjusts how loud the microphone signal must be t oengage
the talkover function.
P. DAMPING knob adjusts the amount of reduction the occurs on the music volume
whenever the talkover function is engaged.
Q. PAN knob positions the channel in the stereo field.
R. TALKOVER button engages the talkover function, which automatically lowers the
music volume whenever the microphone is spoken into, allowing vocals to be
heard clearly over the music.
S. CHANNEL ON button engages the channel.
T. MAIN BOOST button raises the main mix by +4 dB.
U. MAIN DIM button reduces the main mix by -20 dB.
V. REMOTE button allows remote control of CD players with built-in remote jacks.
W. PUNCH/CUT buttons act as mute buttons when the TRANSFORM MODE button
is set to CUT mode. In PUNCH mode, the X PUNCH CUT button activates the X
signal into the main mix, and the Y PUNCH/CUT button activates the Y signal
into the main mix, allowing each side to be briefly spliced over the top of one
another for creative mixing effects.
X. MAIN faders adjusts the output of the MAIN OUTPUTS o the rear panel.
