De zwangerschapsleeftijd
die is berekend door uw
SonoSite-systeem komt niet
overeen met de leeftijd in
de hiervoor genoemde
referentie bij de metingen
van de abdominale omtrek
(AC) 20,0 cm en 30,0 cm. Het
geïmplementeerde
algoritme extrapoleert de
zwangerschapsleeftijd van
de helling van de curve van
alle tabelmetingen, in plaats
van de
zwangerschapsleeftijd te
verlagen voor een grotere
AC-meting die wordt
aangegeven in de tabel
waarnaar wordt verwezen.
Dit zorgt ervoor dat de
zwangerschapsleeftijd altijd
wordt verhoogd bij een
verhoging van AC.
