HRC - Heart Rate Controlled
A heart rate controlled program will automatically adjust the resistance to keep your heart rate at the set value. Grab the heart rate sensors on the fixed
arms firmly and consistently for the console to be able to select the correct resistance level. When using an optional Flow Fitness chest belt, make sure the
electrodes are moist.
Important
For safety reasons the HRC program will stop automatically when your heart rate reaches more than 20% of your enter maximum heart rate. For example
when the program is set 100 Beats Per Minute (BPM) the program will automatically stop by 120 BPM.
HrC programs
There are two HRC programs for a different goal.
HRC1 = 60% of your maximal heart rate for weightloss.
HRC2 = 80% of your maximal heart rate for improving your stamina.
The console will caclulate your maximum heart rate with the formula: 220 - your age.
For example. When you are 30 years old, your maximum heart rate will be: 220 - 30 = 190 BPM.
HRC1 will be 60% of 190 = 114 beats per minute.
For a safe and effective training session it is important to enter your age correctly.
