12 Cleaning

Depending on the frequency of use, we recommend that any crystal deposits above the piston be re-
moved at regular intervals of approx. 8 weeks. To do this, carry out steps f-m of the standard cleaning

To reduce crystal deposits, always fill the instrument all the way up to the upper stop position after
titration.
12.2 Intensive cleaning
To avoid mixing up components, do not dismantle several instruments at the same time. Calibration
and, if applicable, an adjustment must always be carried out after dismantling or replacing a dispens-
ing unit.
1. Preparing for intensive cleaning
a.
Always perform a complete standard cleaning before further dismantling the instrument.

Pull out the recirculation tube and the telescopic filling tube.

Remove any crystal deposits at the upper edge of the
dispensing cylinder, e.g. with water and a soft bottle-
brush. Then, dry it off with cellulose paper

Reassemble the top part of the instrument or, if neces-
sary, further dismantle the instrument for intensive
cleaning.
