refrigeration appliances.
30. To avoid food contamination, the
following instructions should be
observed:
- Prolonged opening of the door is
likely to cause a significant
increase in the temperature of
the appliance compartments.
- Regularly clean surfaces likely to
come into contact
with food and accessible
drainage systems.
- Clean the water containers if they
have not been used for 48 hours;
thoroughly flush the distribution
system connected to a water
distribution network if water has
not been drawn for 5 days.
- If the refrigeration appliance
remains empty for a long time,
switch it off, defrost it, clean it,
dry it, and leave the door open to
prevent the development of mold
inside the appliance.
