When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should al-
ways be observed.
Read this entire manual carefully before beginning installation. Save this
instructions.
Use only original replacement parts.
To reduce the risk of personal injury, attach the fan directly to the sup-
port structure of the building according to these instructions, and use
only the hardware supplied.
To avoid possible electrical shock, before installing your fan, disconnect
the power by turning off the circuit breakers to the outlet box and asso-
ciated wall switch location. If you cannot lock the circuit breakers in the
off position, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag,
to the service panel.
All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes
and ansi/nfpa 70. If you are unfamiliar with wiring, use a qualified elec-
trician.
To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the blade attachment
system when installing, balancing, or cleaning the fan.
Never insert foreign objects between rotating fan blades.
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or motor damage, do not use a
solid-state speed control with this fan. Use only original speed controls.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years old and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or in-
struction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Clean-
ing and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised. Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
Note: the important safety precautions and instructions appearing in the
manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations that
may occur. It must be understood that common sense and caution are nec-
essary factors in the installation and operation of this fan.
• Mark the correct position of the holes and fix the ceiling bracket using the screws with
metal anchor or screws and washers suitable for the type of ceiling chosen.
• Check the correct installation of the bracket before hanging the fan. This plate must sup-
port the full weight of the fan.

INSTALLATION PREPARATION

• To prevent personal injury and damage, ensure that
the hanging location allows the blades a clearance
of 2.3 M from the floor and 76 cm from any wall or
obstruction.
• Be sure the outlet box is securely attached to the
building structure and can support the full weight
of the fan.
