Preparing food
•
Cut food such as chips to the same size and choose similar sized pieces of fish and chicken. Make sure food is as
dry as possible before frying. Use kitchen paper to absorb excess water from food such as fish, meat and vegeta-
bles.
•
Pull the handle release button backwards with your thumb and gently lower the basket into the hot oil.
•
Watch the oil level and foam in order to keep them from reaching the fringe of the oil container confirming the oil
level is appropriate.

Lowering the basket too quickly or introducing wet food could cause the oil to explode or spalter.

After frying
•

Drain the oil from the fryer bowl. Dispose of the oil in an environmentally safe way. Never pour the oil into drains.
Contact your recycling centre for advice on the disposal of the oil.
•

Clean the basket and lid in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before use or storage.
