For exact calculation of the point of impact, the
Leica Geovid HD-R also collects three items of
important information during the range measure-
ment: The angle of the device, the temperature and
the atmospheric pressure. The individual values can
be displayed at any time.
Press the auxiliary/menu button (8) 1x briefly.
• The target mark appears briefly (if the range

Note:
If the housing of the Leica Geovid HD-R has a
significantly different temperature to that of the
environment, for example when moving from indoors
to outdoors, it can take up to 30 minutes before the
internal measuring sensors can determine the
correct ambient temperature again.
