In the Set 12/24 hours submenu, you can activate the 12 or 24 hour format.
Open the MENU. Use the buttons< or> to select the entry

[Time/DATE] and press the OK button.
Use the buttons< or> to select the entry [SET 12/24 HOURS] and press OK.

[SET 24 STD] (for the 24-hour format)
[SET 12 STD] (for the 12-hour format)
Press the OK button to accept.
