You can the display brightness for both operation and standby.
Open the MENU. Use the buttons< or> to select the entry

[LIGHTING] and press the OK button.

Use the buttons< or> to select one of the following functions:
[Operation] controls the brightness in the normal, switched-on state. Here you
can choose between the brightness levels [AUTO], [5 High] to [1 Low].
Use the buttons< or> to select a brightness level and press the OK button to save.
[Standby] controls the brightness in standby mode. You can choose between the
brightness levels [AUTO], [5 High] to [OFF]. Use the buttons to select
< or> to select a brightness level and press the OK button to save.
