Entretien
1.
Contrôler régulièrement l'état du joint d'étanchéité en caoutchouc présent dans le brûleur.
2.
En cas de fuite de gaz entre le brûleur et la cartouche, procéder au remplacement du joint d'étanchéité.
N'utiliser que des pièces détachées d'origine KEMPER.
3.
En cas de défaut constaté, retourner l'appareil auprès d'une entreprise agréée.
4.
Conserver les cartouches à la verticale dans un endroit frais et sec, à l'écart de toutes sources de chaleur.
5.
En cas de longue période de non utilisation de l'appareil, toujours déconnecter la cartouche avant le rangement.

Proper Use
The gas cartridge 580SMINI is suitable for soft soldering, brazing, flaming, burning off, melting, hardening
and lighting wood charcoal. This device may only be used properly, as stated.
Safety Instructions
1.
Read carefully these operating instructions to keep confidence with the appliance before connecting to
the cartridge. Take care of these instructions for future uses.
2.
Never modify your appliance and absolutely never disassemble the appliance and its components.
Modification on the appliance must be made only by qualified personnel. It 's dangerous to bring
modification on device, remove or disassemble its components or use components which are not
approved by the manufacturer, all of this causes the cancellation of warranty and manufacturer's
responsibility.
3.
Only use in well ventilated areas or outdoors, at a safe distance from all heat sources, open flames or
sparks, and away from rubbish and inflammable materials.
4.
Never refill a disposable cartridge. Keep out of reach of children. Never expose the cartridge to
temperatures above 40°C (104°F).
5.
Possible exhalation produced by combustion or by materials being worked on, can be dangerous, always
require information about the possible toxicity.
6.
When operating the device, wear protective goggles in line with the applicable regulations, as well as
grease-free protective clothing.
7.
Always use the device at a clean, fire resistant workstation. Operate the device with care – the gas is
highly inflammable.
8.
The Mini Blow torch runs on a valve type 110 ml direct pressure butane/propane cartridge (EN 417).
Use only with gas cartridge KEMPER art. 580SMINI. Use of unauthorised cartridges can be dangerous.
9.
Do not use a device that leakage, deteriorated or malfunctioning. Check that seals (between the
appliance and the gas container) are in place and in good condition before connecting to the gas
container. Do not use any device, which has damaged or worn seals. Do not use an appliance which is
leaking, damaged or which does not operate properly.
10. After use, put turned on welder in upright position for 5 seconds, before switching it off.
11. Smoking is prohibited during assembling operation and all operations of the unit.
Assembly
1.
When replacing the gas cartridge, do so only in a well-ventilated place, preferably in the open air, as
far as possible from all possible sources of ignition such as naked flames, pilot lights and electric cookers
and well away from other people.
2.
Make sure that the seal is properly located in the soldering device (see connection between valve and
gas cartridge).
3.
Close the gas regulator by turning it clockwise. Remove cover.
4.
Screw on the soldering device by holding it down and turning the cartridge clockwise.
5.
Do not screw the cartridge on too tightly, to avoid damaging the thread.
6.
Briefly open the gas regulator and check whether gas escapes.
7.
Using the new cartridges in a cold device can cause the flame to change. It will soon return to its
normal shape. To remove the cartridge, turn it anticlockwise; a valve in the cartridge prevents gas from
escaping after the soldering device is removed.
8.
Do not dismantle and pack the device away until it has cooled.
9.
Put empty cartridges out for recycling.
Operation
1.
Only operate outdoors or in well ventilated rooms, and away from all heat sources.
2.
Check that seals (between the appliance and the gas container) are in place and in good condition
before connecting to the gas container.
3.
If there is a leak on your appliance (smell of gas), take it outside immediately into a well-ventilated
flame free location where the leak may be detected and stopped. If you wish to check for leaks on your
appliance, do it outside. Do not try to detect leaks using a flame, use soapy water.
4.
Open the gas regulator a quarter of a turn (in the "+" direction) and turn on the gas flow with piezo
ignition.
5.
If you notice anything unusual during operation, turn the device off immediately.
