2.2 Safety instructions for operation
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions,
there is a risk of death or injury.
● Read the warning instructions that follow before you
use the product.
● Do not use the product if you are tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, drugs or medicine. This has a
negative effect on your vision, alertness, coordination
and judgement.
● This product can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are older than 8 and supervised.
● Keep the product and its cable out of reach of children
less than 8 years.
● Do not use the product if it is damaged.
● Do not modify the product.
● The product must only be used for its intended
purpose.
● Do not use the product outdoors.
● The product is not intended for industrial or
commercial use.
● Do not immerse or rinse the product in water or any
other liquid.
● Do not use the product near water or naked flames.
● Do not touch any part of the product with wet hands
or wet part of the body.
● Put the product on a level, stable and heat resistant
surface.
● Some parts of the product becomes hot when in use.
Do not touch hot parts.
● Do not move the product when it is in use.
● Keep your hands and the rest of your body away from
the hot air outlets. Risk of burn injury.
● Do not use the product if any parts are missing.
Contact the retailer if any parts are missing.
● Do not attempt to repair the product. If the product is
damaged or does not operate correctly, it must be
repaired by an authorized service center.
● Do not dismantle the product.
● Do not let children play with the product.
● Keep the packaging material out of the reach of
children. Risk of suffocation.
● Only use recommended parts and accessories.
● Connect the product only to a correctly earthed power
outlet. Refer to an authorized electrician if in doubt.
● Make sure that the power voltage corresponds to the
rated voltage on the type plate. Refer to an authorized
electrician if in doubt.
● If the plug does not fit the socket, refer to an
authorized electrician.
● Connect the product to a separate power circuit.
● Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of a
table or worktop.
● Do not carry or pull the product by the power cable.
● Do not pull the power cable to pull out the plug.
● Do not put the product or the power cable on or near
hot surfaces.
● Make sure that there is free space for the circulation of
air on all sides of the product.
● Do not put any objects on top of the product.
● Make sure that the air inlet and outlet are not blocked.
● Make sure that no flammable material comes into
contact with the product.
● Do not use an extension cable or power strip.
● Do not use an external timer or separate remote
control with the product.
● Do not leave the product unattended when it operates.
● Pull out the plug immediately if the product starts to
smoke.
