5.3 Preparing the TECHNIRADIO RDR XL for operation
5.3.1 Insert battery

Open the battery compartment on the back of the device by lifting the
battery compartment cover using the tab. Then remove the cover.

Insert the battery, ensuring that the gold contacts are aligned with each
other. To do this, slide it under the plastic guide inside the battery
compartment.
The battery can also be purchased separately.

Then replace the battery compartment cover on the battery compartment
and close it until you hear it click into place.
