Display AK
The display shows the measured value in 4000 digits-
with automatic polarity and measurement range dis-
play and decimal point setting. Furthermore, additional
statuses are displayed.

Using the selection button you can choose between the
units mentioned.
05. Operation
Undefined displays
Undefined displays may occur if the measuring inputs
are open circuit or if they are touched with the hand.
This is not a defect, but a reaction of the sensitive
measuring input to interference voltages.

In normal cases, without high interference levels at
the workplace and in the case of a short circuit of
the measuring input, zero is displayed immediately
or, when the object to be measured is connected, the
exact measured value. Fluctuations of the display by
a few digits are system-related and within tolerance.
If resistance measurement, continuity check or diode
test has been selected, the over-range symbol will be
displayed if the measuring input is open circuit.

AC/DC voltage measurements
Exercise the necessary caution when working
on voltages exceeding 30 V AC eff. or 42 V DC as
there is a danger of electric shock. Never apply a
voltage between the connections or between the
connections and earth that exceeds the stated
rated voltage of the measuring instrument (see
label on the housing).
