2.
Fill a suitable amount of tap water in the
water container (to MAX mark for cooking
time 15-60 minutes).
3.
Put large pieces of food that should cook
longer in the bottom steam tray on the
water container. Put the other steam trays
on top.
NOTE:
•
Less water can be used when cooking for
15 minutes, but the level must not be
below the MIN mark. Add more water if
the steaming is reduced or stops during
the cooking.
•
Do not add salt, spices, essence, wine or
other additives to the water – this can
damage the heating element.
•
Check that the water level is between
the MIN and MAX marks.
•
The water container surrounds the
heating element, which ensures rapid
steaming.
•
Food in the bottom tray cooks faster
than in the ones above. Put food with
short cooking times in the top tray.
4.
Use the handle to put the lid one. Avoid
touching hot parts. Hot parts are marked
by the hot symbol.
5.
Plug in the plug.
6.
Check that all the parts are properly in
place before switching on the product.
7.
Wait until all the parts have cooled before
emptying the residual water.
WARNING!
Do not touch the hot parts of the handle.
Hold the bottom part of the handle.
MAINTENANCE
1.
Pull out the plug and allow the product to
cool before cleaning.
2.
Wash the lid, steam bowl, steam trays,
holder and water container with hot
water and washing-up liquid.
3.
Wipe dry with a soft, dry cloth.
WARNING!
•
Do not immerse the base, power cord or
plug, in water or any other liquid – risk
of electric shock.
•
Do not use solvent, strong, corrosive or
abrasive detergents, or abrasive utensils
when cleaning.
NOTE:
All parts except for the base can be washed
in a dishwasher. The surface of the water
container can become dulled, however, after
frequent washing in a dishwasher.
DESCALING
Scale can accumulate in time in the water
container and on the heating element.
The amount of scale depends on the hardness
of the water. Scale must be removed at regular
intervals to ensure optimum functionality and
life span of the product.
NOTE:
•
Do not use descaling agents or other
chemicals.
•
If the vinegar solution boils over: switch
off the timer function, pull out the plug,
and pour out some of the liquid.
1.
Pour about 7 dl of vinegar into the water
container and fill up with fresh water to
the MAX mark.
2.
Check that all the parts are properly in
place and plug in the plug.
3.
Set the cooking time to 20-25 minutes.
4.
When the buzzer goes off after the set time,
pull out the plug and allow the vinegar
solution to cool, and then pour it out.
5.
Rinse the water container several times
with cold water and wash the other parts
according to the instructions.
