OPERATING THE SOFTWARE
Some operations execute through the special Nomics-designed USB cable to connect
the recorder to a PC� For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to connect the device to a
computer while the patient wears the device� The patient must be kept at more than 1�50m
(5ft) from the device while the device is connected to the PC� Do not hand over the USB
cable to the patient with the device�
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Minimal configuration requirements:
√ Windows® XP SP3, or later
√ An active connection to internet
√ Graphical resolution min 1024 x 768
√ 1 USB port
INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
√ Make sure that the computer meets the minimal configuration requirements given above.
√ Start the computer. Close all running applications before you install the CERES software.
√ Double-click on the 'CERES' file provided or download it from the company's website.
√ The installation utility informs you of the progress of the operation. Depending on the configuration of
the computer the installation may take several minutes.
√ When you connect a BRIZZY recorder to a computer for the first time, a window 'Found New Hard-
ware' may appear. Always authorize the installation of the peripheral drive; it will install automatically.
√ After installation has completed, restart the computer.
√ The software is ready for use.
