Installation of the oximetry sensor
Installation of the sensor is illustrated below and in the documents accompanying the sensor. It is rec-
ommended to run the sensor cable along the arm under the pajama top to allow it to meet the oximetry
module on the chest of the patient. Make sure the finger on which the oximetry sensor is placed is free
of colored nail polish.
The 8000J and 8000SM SpO2 sensors from Nonin are reusable. Consult their instructions for use.
Installation of the ECG module
Installation of the three ECG electrodes is illustrated below. It is recommended to run the cables under
the pajamas to meet the ECG module on the patient's chest.
