Before each use, check the parts and accessories for any damage or wear (cracks/
breakage) that may adversely affect performance and, if so, replace them with original
or manufacturer-recommended parts and accessories.
•
If the product is malfunctioning, dropped or damaged, do not use the product and
consult our customer service.
•
If this is your first time using the product, it is important to read the manual and
instructions carefully.
•
The product is intended for domestic use only, and not: in staff kitchens, in stores, in
offices and other work environments, by customers in hotels, motels and other residential
environments, in bed & breakfast environments, on farms etc.
•
Do not move the product when it is on or has not yet cooled down.
•
The outside of the product may become hot when the product is in use. So be alert when
touching the outside!
•
Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on the product, these
can become hot. So be alert when touching these objects.
•
Place the product at least 1.5 m away from surrounding surfaces, especially combustible
materials, such as textiles, bedding, curtains, plastic, electrical current carriers, wood, etc.
•
Beware of gas leak odor! Open windows immediately and evacuate the room until the
odor is completely gone. Do not use electrical or electronic devices when gas is present.
Get help from a qualified gas service professional to confirm that the product is safe for
reuse before using the product.
•
Risk of oxygen deprivation! If you feel sleepy or tired, turn off the product and make sure
the room is continuously ventilated. Seek fresh air immediately.
•
Do not test for (gas) leaks with an open flame or spark! This can cause a fire hazard and/
or explosion!
•
The gas hose has an expiration date. Have it checked by a gas service expert.
•
Do not place the product in basements or floors below street level, or in unventilated
areas.
•
We strongly recommend that you install a gas detector in the room where you will use
the product.
•
Change the gas cylinder only in a well-ventilated area!
•
The product must not be used in high flats, in bathrooms, basements or bedrooms.
•
Never throw waste such as cigarette butts into the product, this can affect combustion
and produce dangerous pollutants.
•
Do not place furniture or other items in front of the product; keep at least 1 meter away
from the back and sides of the product to avoid fire hazard.
•
This product must be tested for leaks before first use and each time the gas cylinder is
reconnected after filling. Never use an open flame to test for leakage.
2.2 Persons
•
Children under 3 years of age should stay away from the product unless they are under
constant supervision.
•
The product should not be used by people with physical or mental disabilities. Use of
the product is permitted only when a supervisor is present and responsible for the user's
safety.
